Listen to articles, news, and all of your favourite websites with the Chrome Extension. NaturalReader supports most websites with standard formatting.
Please keep in mind that websites that require login to access its content may restrict third parties from accessing that content. This means that our extension may be blocked from accessing text on websites with paid subscription content or eLearning websites.
Tip: You change the presets for Activate the extension, Pause/Read, and more from the Hotkey Settings.
Read From the Beginning
If you don't have Quick Start enabled, launch the extension by clicking on NaturalReader's logo from your pinned extensions or by selecting NaturalReader from your extensions list. Both options are next to the address bar.
Press the Play button to start listening and it will start at the beginning of the page
After pressing Play, you can also click on any readable text to begin listening.
OR USE HOTKEYS
Use the hotkey for Activate the extension. The default preset is ctrl + shift + Y (Windows) or ⌘ + shift + Y (Mac)
Use the hotkey for Pause/Resume, which by default is alt + P (Windows) or ⌥ + P (Mac)
Read From Anywhere
Use the hotkey for Activate the extension. The default preset is ctrl + shift + Y (Windows) or ⌘ + shift + Y (Mac)

Selective Reading
Use Highlight to Read to read only a specific portion of text.
Use your cursor to highlight text on the page
If you have the setting enabled, click the Highlight to Read icon to read the passage. Only the text you highlight will be read aloud
OR USE THE CONTEXT MENU
When Highlight to Read is turned off, the button won't appear anymore but you can still listed to highlighted text by using the context menu (right-click).

Use the cursor to highlight the text you want read aloud
Use the hotkey for Highlight to Read. There is no preset for this hotkey, so if you have not set one up yet, you can customize this hotkey from the Hotkey Settings
