NaturalReader's Chrome Extension integrates with Gmail and Outlook so you can easily read your email messages while skipping irrelevant text.

You just need to click on the Quick Start button to listen to only your email’s contents.

If you don't see the quick start icon in Gmail or Outlook, check the extension's Quick Start setting. Next to Email, you can click the switch to toggle the setting.

If you don't use Gmail or Outlook, as an alternative, use Highlight to Read to listen to only the most relevant parts of your email.

  1. Use your cursor to highlight text on the page

  2. If you have the setting enabled, click the Highlight to Read icon to read the passage. Only the text you highlight will be read aloud

OR USE THE CONTEXT MENU

When Highlight to Read is turned off, the button won't appear anymore but you can still listed to highlighted text by using the context menu (right-click).

  1. Use your cursor to highlight the text you'd like to listen to

  2. Right-click and select Read Selection

OR USE HOTKEYS

  1. Use the cursor to highlight the text you want read aloud

  2. Use the hotkey for Highlight to Read. There is no preset for this hotkey, so if you have not set one up yet, you can customize this hotkey from the Hotkey Settings
