Once your file is uploaded and ready to read and listen to, let's go over the reading toolbar features available for uploaded documents, images, and webpages.
Toolbar options will differ if you're reading from an uploaded file (eg. pdf) or if you're reading from uploaded text (text you've typed or pasted in directly to the app).
The toolbar will appear after uploading the file.
Follow along with the reading using the Closed Captions along the bottom of your screen
Upload the file you wish to listen to or open the file from your Library
Press Play to listen to the uploaded file
Toggle Closed Captions
Uploaded documents preserve the original document formatting. This means that unlike when you type to paste in text, the document and font cannot be altered or edited. Instead, you can zoom in/out or refit the document to the page.

Select Zoom
Click to increase or decrease the zoom or to fit the document by width or page
Use the search function to find and navigate to specific text in your document.

Type or paste the text
Add bookmarks to a document to easily navigate to specific pages in the file.
Upload the file you wish to listen to or open the file from your Library
Press Play to being listening to the document
Select Reading List
Select Add Bookmark
The sentence currently being read aloud will be added to the Reading List
Being reading and listening from a saved bookmark.
Select Library from the side menu
Select the document from your Library list
Select Reading List
Select All Bookmarks to view a list of saved bookmarks for the document
Select a bookmark to open to that sentence in the document
Press Play to resume reading
Tips: Documents opened from your Library will open automatically to where you had left off last time.
Be sure to open the document from your Library to access its saved bookmarks. The app does not recognize when you upload the same document multiple times so your saved bookmarks will not appear if you re-upload instead of opening it from the Library.
