How to upload photos and screenshots to the desktop web app

Use NaturalReader Online's desktop web app to upload images of text, like photos or screenshots, to read and listen to.

OCR (optical character recognition) allows images of text to be converted into readable text files. Unregistered users may upload up to 20 image OCR per day. Registered free users may upload up to 100 image OCR per day.

OCR is unlimited with a Premium, Plus, or EDU subscription.

Upload a picture or screenshot to read and listen to. Supported image file types are .jpeg and .png.

  1. Select Add Files from the side menu

  2. Select Images

  3. Locate and select an image file from your computer

  4. Select Open to upload the file

  5. Press Play to listen

OR

  1. Locate a document file from your computer

  2. Click, drag, and drop the selected file to the text box

  3. Press Play to listen

Upload multiple image files into a single online document to read and listen to to the maximum of 20 images per document.

  1. Select Add Files from the side menu

  2. Select Images

  3. Locate and select the first image file from your computer

  4. Select Open to upload the image

  5. To add another image, select Add More

  6. When all image files are uploaded, review the image/page order. Click and drag to rearrange the order or delete unwanted images.

  7. Once the image order is reviewed, select Done to upload.

  8. The images are now collected into a single document. Press Play to listen
