Now that you have a new Project set up, we can start adding Files to convert text into audio. If you're not sure yet about how to create a new Project, visit our article on Creating and Managing Projects.
Open the Project you wish to add Files to. After logging in, by default the last Project you worked on will be opened showing a list of its Files. Switch to a different Project by clicking on the Project Name from the top of the app, then click to select a Project from the list
When you have the Project you wish to add to opened, select Add Files
Select Create New File
Input a File Name
Type or paste the text you wish to be converted to audio
Select a category for your File from the drop-down menu
Select Next: Choose Voice
Scroll or use the drop-down menu and filters to select a voice from the list
Click to select a voice
Drag on the bar or click to adjust the speed
Select Choose the voice
You will then be taken to the Studio Editor to fine-tune your text and voice settings before downloading the audio files.

To exit the Studio Editor, select Save and Back from the top left.
Open the Project that contains the File you wish to modify
Select the 3 dots next to the File to open the options menu and select Rename
Enter the new name and select Save to finish
Open the Project that contains the File you wish to make a duplicate of
Select the 3 dots next to the File to open the options menu and select Duplicate
A duplicate of the File will be added to the Project
Open the Project that contains the File you wish to transfer
Select the 3 dots next to the File to open the options menu and select Move to another project
Use the drop-down menu to select a Project to transfer the File to
Select Save to finish the transfer
Export a File to an .nkl file format. .nkl files can be opened in NaturalReader Commercial only. Use this export function to transfer Files between team members or accounts. .nkl files can be uploaded back into the app where you may continue editing them or download the audio.
Open the Project that contains the File you wish to export
Select the 3 dots next to the File to open the options menu and select Save to a local file
Select a save destination, and Save to export
Exported .nkl files can be used as your own backup or shared with a Team Member. Anyone with the file can import it file to their own account to work on or download from.
Open the Project you wish to add the File to
Select Add File
Select Import File (.nkl)
Browse and select the .nkl file you wish to upload
The File will now appear in the chosen Project list where you can continue to edit it or download the audio in the Studio Editor
Open the Project that contains the File you wish to permanently delete
Select the 3 dots next to the File to open the options menu and select Delete
If you are sure you want to delete the File permanently, select Yes
