Plan Upgrades (Personal Version)

Modify your subscription by upgrading to a higher tier or change billing from monthly to yearly

You can upgrade your subscription plan tier (such as from Plus to Pro) at any time, whether it was purchased through our website, the App Store, or Google Play.

Modifying your billing terms (changing from monthly to yearly) depends on the platform where you subscribed. Subscriptions made through our website or the App Store support switching from monthly to yearly, while Google Play subscriptions do not currently support this change.

You must upgrade through the same platform where you originally subscribed. App Store or Google Play subscriptions must be upgraded in the NaturalReader mobile app while subscriptions purchased directly from naturalreaders.com should be modified via the web app (https://www.naturalreaders.com/online/).


Website Purchases

For subscriptions purchased through our website, changing plan tiers (for example, Plus to Pro) is prorated based on the price difference between plans and the remaining time in the current billing cycle. The renewal date does not change and the new plan rate applies at the end of the current billing period.

Changing billing terms (for example, monthly to yearly) resets the renewal date based on the date of the change. Monthly plans renew one month from the update and yearly plans renew one year from the update.

Upgrade from Plus to Pro

1. Open and login to NaturalReader personal web at https://www.naturalreaders.com/online/

2. Select Account from the menu

3. Select Upgrade to Plus or Upgrade to Pro

4. You’ll see a confirmation screen with the prorated upgrade price

5. Press Upgrade Now to complete the payment

Upgrade from Premium to Plus or Premium to Pro

If you have an active plan under the legacy Premium tier, please contact us (Account > Contact Us) and we'll be happy to assist with modifying your plan.

Upgrade from Monthly to Yearly

If you subscribed from our website and would like to modify your billing term, please contact us directly (Account > Contact Us) and we can assist.


App Store Purchases

If you subscribed from the App Store, the subscription must also be modified from your iOS device through Apple.

When upgrading or changing billing terms, Apple charges the new plan immediately and issues a prorated refund for the unused portion of the original plan, typically within 7 days. The renewal date resets based on the date of the change.

Upgrade from Plus to Pro

If you have a legacy Premium subscription, you can upgrade to either Plus or Pro.

  1. Open the NaturalReader mobile app version from your iOS device and select Account from the app menu.

  2. Select Upgrade to Pro (even if you're upgrading from Premium to Plus).

  3. You will be directed to your App Store subscription settings. Select the plan tier you wish to change to.

  4. Select Pay Now. Apple will charge you the full amount but will issue you a prorated refund, typically within 7 days.

Select Back to return to Subscription & Billing in the NaturalReader app and select Restore to view your new billing date. The renewal date resets based on the date of the change.

Upgrade from Monthly to Yearly

  1. Open the NaturalReader mobile app version from your iOS device and select Account from the app menu.

  2. Select Subscription & Billing.

  3. Select Customer Portal.

  4. You will be directed to your App Store subscription settings. Select the billing plan you wish to change to.

  5. Select Pay Now. Apple will charge you the full amount but will issue you a prorated refund, typically within 7 days.

​Select Back to return to Subscription & Billing in the NaturalReader app and select Restore to view your new billing date. The renewal date resets based on the date of the change.


Google Play Purchases

You can change plan tiers (for example, upgrading from Plus to Pro). When upgrading, Google Play applies the change immediately and charges a prorated amount for the remaining time in the current billing cycle. The renewal date stays the same.

At this time, Google Play does not allow changes to billing terms (for example, switching from monthly to yearly). To move to a yearly plan, you will need to cancel your current subscription so it does not renew. Once the current billing period ends and the subscription expires, you can re-subscribe with the yearly plan.

Upgrade to Pro

If you have a legacy Premium subscription, you can upgrade to either Plus or Pro.

  1. Open the NaturalReader mobile app version from your Android device and select Account from the app menu.

  2. Select Upgrade to Pro (even if you're upgrading from Premium to Plus).

  3. Select the plan you want, and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the change.

  4. Google Play applies the upgrade immediately and charges a prorated amount for the remaining time in your current billing cycle

  5. Select Back to return to Subscription & Billing in the NaturalReader app and select Restore to view and your new plan details.
