Introduction

There are 2 main voice types in the AI Voice Generator: AI Voices and LLM Voices. AI Voices are created using deep learning and neural networks and are considered the app’s standard voices.

"LLM" is a next generation type of AI technology that uses Large Language Models in deep learning algorithms to create voices. The result is the highest quality voices you can find on the market today with realistic tones, emotions, and contextual understanding. LLM Voices are also multilingual, so you can use the same voice for 29 different languages.

LLM Voices include the Multilingual and Cloned categories in the AI Voice Generator’s voice settings. Learn more about Voice Cloning here.

TTS limitations are different depending on if you are using a standard AI Voice or an advanced LLM Voice.

TTS (Text-to-Speech) Limitations for Paid Users

Voice types in the AI Voice Generator are either AI or LLM. Cloned Voices are included as LLM Voices. Keep track of your daily and monthly usage by going to Account > TTS Usage.

  • 1,000,000 characters/user/day to a maximum of 6,000,000 characters/user/month using AI Voices

  • 100,000 characters/user/day to a maximum of 300,000 characters/user/month using LLM Voices (Multilingual and Cloned)

Spaces, punctuation, numbers, and special characters are all counted towards your character limits. Daily character limits reset at 12:00 UTC. Monthly character limits reset on the first of each month.

If you edit your text or settings, the audio must be re-converted so all characters in the edited section will be re-counted.

After adding text to the app, if you edit that text in any way, all the characters in that text segment are re-counted towards your character limit. Characters are also re-counted when you change settings, such as changing the voice or speed.

The following features are not supported by LLM Voices:

- SSML tagging (Advanced Tunes)
- Using phonetic characters (IPA) in the Pronunciation Editor
