Introduction
NaturalReader AI Voice Generator includes a wide range of AI and LLM text-to-speech voices. These voices are powered by the latest speech technology from industry leaders across a wide range of use cases.
Language support, credit cost, and available customization options may depend on the selected voice type or model.
TTS (Text-to-Speech) Credits and Limitations for Paid Users
Text-to-speech usage is based on credits. Credits are consumed per character with cost depending on the voice type or model. Monthly credit limits apply per user. Keep track of your monthly usage by going to Account > TTS Usage.
All paid plans include credits that are spent when converting text to audio. Credits are consumed every time a character is converted to audio. How many credits each character consumes depend on the voice type being used.
All subscribers have 6,000,000 credits/user per month included.

OpenAI ChatGPT Voices - 1 credit per character
11Labs LLM Voices Turbo - 10 credits per character
11Labs LLM Voices HD - 20 credits per character
Azure AI Voices - 1 credit per character

Legacy Voices (deprecated) - 1 credit per character

If you run out of monthly characters, you can purchase additional Pay-As-You-Go credits to extend your usage.
Unused credits from the default 6 million monthly allotment do not carry over to the next month.
What counts as a character?
Everything that passes through the text-to-speech service counts as a character, including:
All letters and numbers
All spaces, punctuation, tabs, symbols, and special characters
All text included in SSML markup (Advanced Tunes tags)
Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language characters are counted as 2 characters
When does it reset?
Your credit limit resets month-to-month based on your subscription start date. The reset occurs at 0:00 UTC after that date.
For example, if your subscription started on January 1, your credits reset on February 1 at 4:00 pm PST / 7:00 pm EST.
If you reach your monthly limit, you can purchase additional credits.
Changing your text, voice, speed, Pronunciation Editor settings, or Advanced Tunes settings requires that the text be re-converted to audio. When you modify the text or settings in any way, the characters in the edited text block will be counted again towards your usage limit.
