AskAI and Voice Cloning (EDU Owners/Admins)

Enable or disable your EDU users' access to the AskAI assistant feature and Voice Cloning

AskAI is a personal AI assistant that's powered by ChatGPT. AskAI can help with summarizing documents or answer questions user ask about the text. Voice cloning allows users to create a copy of their own voice that they can use to read and their text and listen to out loud.

Access to these features is on by default, but can be turned off by the EDU Owner from the EDU Management settings.

Keep in mind that EDU Management settings can be accessed from the web app version only. It cannot open from the mobile app.


Disable AskAI

AskAI is on for all users by default. The EDU's School Owner can disable user access to AskAI from the EDU Management settings.

  1. Open the personal web app and login (Account > Login)

  2. Go to Account and select EDU Management

  3. Select School Information from the left side menu

  4. Next to AskAI, click the switch to disable access

  5. After disabling, all users will now have AskAI hidden in the app interface


Enable AskAI

The feature is already on by default. If it's been disabled, the EDU School's Owner can re-enable AskAI access at anytime.

  1. Open the personal web app and login (Account > Login)

  2. Go to Account and select EDU Management

  3. Select School Information from the left side menu

  4. Next to AskAI, click the switch to enable access


Disable Voice Cloning

The Voice Cloning feature is accessible by all users by default. The EDU's School Owner can disable user access to Voice Cloning from the EDU Management settings.

  1. Open the personal web app and login (Account > Login)

  2. Go to Account and select EDU Management

  3. Select School Information from the left side menu

  4. Next to Voice Cloning, click the switch to disable access

The feature is already on by default. If it's been disabled, the EDU School's Owner can re-enable access at anytime.

  2. Go to Account and select EDU Management

  3. Select School Information from the left side menu

  4. Next to Voice Cloning, click the switch to enable access
